The holidays can be full of joy, but the “busyness” of the season can also contribute to a sense of stress and even lead to burnout. In this workshop, students will learn how to prevent and heal from burnout using the tools of yoga. We’ll set our intentions for the holiday season and will spend time working with mantras and affirmations, which can help us recenter during difficult moments. Students will be guided in a grounding practice of asana, breath work, and meditation to help return to sense of balance and calm. Participants will leave this workshop with a variety of simple techniques that can help to de-stress and re-center when the excitement and pressures of the holiday season become overwhelming.
