Yin Yoga Comes to Yoga NoMa

Yin yoga is a slow-paced, meditative yoga practice that targets the fascia and connective tissues of the body by holding postures long periods of time, typically 3 to 10 minutes, with the muscles relaxed. In this yin workshop, Isaac will introduce the yin practice to Yoga NoMa. Topics will include (1) how to safely practice yin yoga; (2) the basics of yin yoga anatomy and skeletal variation; and (3) the interplay between yin yoga and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
