Join Crystal Moore May 7, 7-8pm, for a by-donation class in support of Yoga Foster, an organization dedicated to bringing the tools of yoga and mindfulness to classrooms.

Every body can do yoga. Curvy Yoga is especially designed for the full-figured woman who appreciates her curves and wants to focus on living her best life possible. We will stretch and strengthen your muscles, while helping to bring calm and clarity to the mind. Come ready for a challenge, and then wrap things up with relaxation!

Yoga Foster is a nonprofit organization that brings yoga to low-income public schools around the United States. They empower teachers with yoga training, curriculum and mats to create a happier, healthier school day for their students. 

The proceeds from this fundraiser class will directly benefit the classrooms Yoga Foster works in, and give the gift of yoga to more kids than ever before.

Empower yourself, your sister, your friend, your mother, your daughter, your partner, your loved ones!

Seminar Topics:

  • How to thwart potential attacks by making yourself a “hard target”
  • How to break free from an attacker who grabs you without warning.
  • How to avoid being taken to the ground by a determined attacker.
  • How to escape from underneath an attacker pinning you to the ground.
  • How to strike an attacker and be effective.
  • Learn these techniques in a safe, supportive atmosphere.

 No Experience Necessary –designed for first-time students of self defense. Anyone Under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Wear comfortable clothing.

Work the Wall - Core, Balance, and Flexibility With Jasiri: July 31, 12-1:15pm

Learn how to use your wall space to support your practice. 

First, we begin with listening. Then move into a fun and dynamic exploration of core, balance, and flexibility sequences against or near the wall. We venture into composed inversions. Then finish off with restorative rest pose. 

This workshop is for anyone with a receptive spirit towards exploration, community, and fun! We will be accompanied by a playlist of international sounds for your listening pleasure. 

Note: Workshop is an extended class and so not part of the class pack/ monthly membership

Baby and Me Yoga is an excellent opportunity for moms (or dads) to bring their children and do some yoga. This is a class where the parents get to practice yoga, while the children play, nap, snack, run around, etc. We welcome children of all ages, from newborn babies on up. The older children are welcome to do yoga with us if they wish.
