After Sunday Restore and Renew, stick around for Divine Sleep Yoga Nidra™.

Experience deeper levels of inner peace and health than you ever imagined possible. Give yourself permission to rest, balance, and restore, tapping into new sources of energy. This inspired meditation practice will awaken your whole being, allowing you to enjoy life fully. There is nothing required of you but to lie down and listen. Be supported, held and nourished as you discover profound peace and vibrant health. As your journey unfolds, you will become radiant, joyful, and light.

What is Divine Sleep Yoga Nidra?

Divine Sleep Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation that systematically guides and relaxes you at every level of being including your physical,  energetic,  mental,  emotional and spiritual layers(called five koshas).    Through the use of breath awareness,  body scanning,  healing music and nature imagery,  DivineSleep invites you to become aware of each layer of being without needing to change or fix anything.  This is true meditation where there is nothing to do but to ‘notice’—supporting you in feeling empowered and whole just as you are. This contemporary practice is based on ancient yogic wisdom and meditation to make a powerful tool for modern-day life

Welcome to Divine Sleep Yoga Nidra, the antidote to modern life, taught by Stephanie Holcombe, Family Nurse-Practitioner and Certified Nurse-Midwife of The Radical Within, rained in Yoga Nidra at Kripalu. Join us.

Yoga in American Sign Language

Monthly Sundays, 1:15-2:30pm

Wednesdays 5-5:50pm starting January 24

Join Jamie Yost for an all levels vinyasa flow class taught in American Sign Language. This class will incorporate basic yoga poses into challenging and fun sequences, with an emphasis on alignment and the breath. Jamie helps students build strength and flexibility through an all levels flow appropriate for those new to yoga, or looking to deepen their practice. Please note that although voice-interpretation is not provided, all are welcome!

This class is a strong, fast-paced class designed to build heat and strength. Set it up a score as sweat your way through a vigorous flow that calms the mind, works muscles and burns calories. Although voice interpretation is not provided, all are welcome.

Yin yoga is a slow-paced, meditative yoga practice that targets the fascia and connective tissues of the body by holding postures long periods of time, typically 3 to 10 minutes, with the muscles relaxed. In this yin workshop, Isaac will introduce the yin practice to Yoga NoMa. Topics will include (1) how to safely practice yin yoga; (2) the basics of yin yoga anatomy and skeletal variation; and (3) the interplay between yin yoga and Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Fridays 7:15-8:30pm

SPA Yoga: Senses, Physical Practice, and Awareness

Tuesdays, 7:45-9 PM

Thursdays, 7:45-9 PM

Sundays, 5:30-6:45 PM

SPA yoga is a 75 min slow-flow, floor-based, whole-body sensory experience based on Fluid Yoga sequencing.  By engaging all five of the senses with soft candlelight, soothing music, aromatherapy, lots of hands-on assists and a renewed awareness of taste (and sometimes chocolate!), SPA aligns practitioners with the inner wisdom of deep relaxation.

The physical practice takes time to open the body’s subtle energy and prepares students to experience new depths of awareness in an extended, guided savasana.   During SPA, you may discover extra hands on assists and massages, a calming candlelit room atmosphere, delightful scents and beautiful music in the background.

Join us for a healthy and fun yoga class for your whole family with Kaydee Dahlin

Everyone will have fun and get a workout. The family will learn breathing and relaxation and meditation techniques that you can practice together at home, as well as fun Acro yoga poses for playtime with your child.

Only one payment necessary per family, though every adult member should separately create an account and sign the waiver.

Prenatal Yoga

Saturdays 11:30 - 12:45 PM

Prepare your body for childbirth, both physically and emotionally. In this workshop we'll focus on poses that not only build strength and stability in the hips and low back, but that guide the body toward a receptive state of softening and opening. We'll practice breathing techniques to prepare for labor, and poses that build up the stamina and the mental flexibility needed for motherhood. The workshop will conclude with a supportive savasana. It's suitable for women in all trimesters, and is an excellent way to meet fellow mothers. No prior yoga experience is necessary.
